How to get good Blog Traffic,
Getting good quality traffic to your blog is actually rather easy. It really only takes one really important thing to generate good traffic to your blog and that is Good Relevant Content added to your blog on a Consistent basis. The key is the word consistent.
I have found time and time again that I would start generating the Blog traffic I was wanting to my blog only to find it slowing down faster than it started. What was the one thing I stopped doing that was causing the traffic that I had started to come to a stop.
Every time it was the same thing and that was, I failed to be consistent with my blog posting.
My regular readership would stop showing up as soon as the content they were enjoying stopped showing up and so did the new traffic. Of course when the traffic stopped so did my list building efforts. With no new traffic there was nobody new showing up to my blog to subscribe to the FREE GIFTS I was offering that would help them in their list building efforts. So I was basically setting here with a solution to a problem but nobody was finding me.
We need to keep in mind that one of the most important things we can do to generate good quality traffic will be to add high quality, original content. You may actually be able to let the page advertise for itself, more or less, if you can keep it full of good content. Google, and the other major search engines, are continuously scouring the web looking for places that have good relevant content and sites that are updated frequently.
If you do a good job making sure the content on your site is good quality and relevant and optimized for the web, the search engines will do their job to send you the traffic you are looking for. People search all over the internet for informative sources just waiting to help them solve their problems and if you present them with the solutions through your content, you will find that soon you will be positioned right in their path when they come searching, and they will keep coming back to your site for a long time and you will have a sustained influx of freely generated traffic.
My biggest problem I found I had in being consistent was the fact that I was trying to run my business and do everything myself and I just plain and simple lacked the time to be consistent with my blogging.
The solution was to hire someone to create content for me.
This is where it got exciting for me. I contacted my list and a few others I thought would be great at writing for my blog. What I found was there were several people that really wanted to write for me but they were to scared to actually take the step and start. They were worried about me not liking the post or worried they might not be able to do the research that was required to create a good post on a topic they might not comprehend. Basically they were afraid to take the action that was required. Seems that is what holds more people back than anything. Fear of failing!
Well you may have noticed that some of the posts I have on my blog are being authored by Harvey Poling jr.
Harvey approached me and said he would like the opportunity to at least try. I have to admit I was a little surprised and even a little bit worried about this move as he really was not experienced at all in what I do for a living or in writing the content I was looking for.
But then I remembered back to my start and how I knew nothing about what I was about to venture into myself. I guess what really made me say yes to this new venture was the fact that Harvey was willing to give it a try even if he ended up failing. Yes he was nervous and a little bit unsure of what he was about to get himself into but he was willing to overcome the fear and give it his best try.
It started out with me writing some articles and then having him re-write them. Next I would just give him a title or a subject to research and write on. It was not long before I found myself not even being able to keep up with the videos and blog posts he was sending my way.
Guess who I am paying to write my blog posts… You guessed it, the one that overcame his fears and gave it his best effort.
So what is my blog traffic looking like since our new found relationship has begun? It is not where I want it yet, but what a substantial increase I have seen and a very nice climb in the numbers that are subscribing to my list from my blog traffic. So providing great content not only provides the traffic it also is one of the number one list builders their is.
Of course their are things like ensuring your content is SEO friendly by using the proper Keywords in your content that those coming online will use to search for your content, but it all starts with being consistent and writing good quality content.
Without straying away from our topic and getting deep into Search Engine Optimization, SEO friendly content is really nothing more than just content that was written with some attention paid to how a search engine might see the content.
But I want to be very clear and state that SEO Friendly Writing Does Not Mean you go about Writing for Search Engines
You need to really first and foremost be thinking about writing for people not for search engines when creating your content for your blog. Search engines ultimately want to provide content that is interesting and informative for their customers too, and who really wants to read a page that is over optimized. Can we say BORING!
I just want to publicly state that I am very pleased with what Harvey has accomplished not only for my blog but for himself. He should be an example to many that are facing the fears of taking the required action to begin something new in your life.
You only fail if you don’t try.
What is keeping you from generating the blog traffic you are looking for? It all starts with consistently providing good relevant content that helps solve your readerships problems. By doing so you will gain their trust and support and build the credibility that you need in your online business ventures.

Facing Our Fears A Candid Look at What’s Holding Us Back

Home Business Start up; Facing Our Fears
If you are like me, learning all these keywords and concepts like list building, affiliate marketing and lead generation is daunting, but most of us can grasp them. The absorption of these elements can actually be fun and rewarding, especially when we are dreaming of making extra income. Then the realization that it is time to put some of these marketing building blocks to actual use…then the reality hits. You ask yourself the question, can I really do this? Do I want to do this?
I will be honest. I face the same questions you do. I know I need to find a way to generate more income, but that nagging feeling in the back of my mind says, “Come on, this is too good to be true”. I worry about how extra income will affect figuring my taxes. I stress about all the legal red tape will be involved in starting a home business. In a nutshell, I think, maybe I’ll just stay where I’m at.
Do you face these same questions? Do you fear the risk of failure…or even of success? I think we probably all do. I think it’s part of being human. So what makes one person take the chance and another just sit on the sidelines and watch others make money?
I am fascinated by Jeff Wellman’s story of how he started in Internet marketing. After losing his job at a well-known manufacturer, facing the prospect of being middle-aged with no prospects, it’s a nightmare that haunts us all. Nevertheless, Jeff found a mentor, his own Son, Keith who helped and coached his Dad to start a new career.
There are some people that become entrepreneurs by necessity, like Jeff did. A job crisis forced him to turn a corner and try something new. He had to face fear, while learning all types of new things. His situation had its own particular challenge, losing ones income and finding a new way to make money. Not a pleasant prospect, but his example is inspirational. He wasn’t too proud to let his Son teach him some new tricks.
You may be like me and be fortunate enough to currently have a job. You have a good life, but you have some dreams to make it better. You may want to retire soon, but worry there is not quite enough money to go around. You may dream of owning a better home or send your children to college. You have your dreams, but fear is keeping you from challenging your comfort zone. Does this sound familiar? It sure does to me.
Obviously, no responsible person should jump into something without the facts. Profit Instruments-Ritoban Chakrabarti review. Is it a scam is the question all doubters have at the top of their list for questions to ask. In my opinion it is an outstanding Affiliate Marketing Product that will get you results if you give it an honest chance.
I have been given a copy of this product to review and the more I did into it the better it gets.
Many doubters will take a look at this product and from past experiences with other products will set them self up to fail with it immediately before they even give it a chance to work.
From past experiences your mind will begin to ask all the questions that will raise doubts in your mind about the validity of this product or any other product you look at. Your mind will begin to tell you that it probably will not get you any better results than the last experience you had. It will due this to protect you from the pain of failure.
Let me ask you a very serious question… Do you honestly expect to win or lose? Now really be serious about answering that question. Your first reactive response is of course to say; “I expect to win.”
But what I really find when dealing with students I teach, is that the language of so many suggests that when faced with an opportunity of any description, they really don’t expect to win. Therefore, by default, they are setting themselves up to lose.
Example of something I hear a lot from students that are setting themselves up to fail… “Well the last thing I did didn’t get me any results so I am hoping that I am not getting myself in the same situation.”
Does that sound like someone that is expecting anything different from the experience being presented to them at that moment? Absolutely not. They are not ever expecting the results to be any different than the previous experience therefore by default they are setting themselves up for the same failing experience and that is a shame. They are saying they hope it is but they don’t really believe it is going to be different. Once they fail they will in true fashion turn to the product owner and tell him what an awful product he or she has and ask for a refund and call that person a scam artist. Happens all of the time.
This usually happens within the first 72 hours of buying a product. That’s right long before it was ever given a real sincere opportunity to help them out in anyway.
The language you speak is simply a manifestation of the way that your mind thinks and the belief system that it has. How is it that your words get assembled in the first place?
They have to be thought – either consciously or sub-consciously.
What is the language you hear yourself speak when you are faced with an opportunity? Is it positive or is it negative?
Now I totally agree that you need to use caution when buying something on the internet from those you do not know or trust yet. There are those that are out to do harm to others by scamming you out of your money and they can come across as being very sincere most of the time. That is why I recommend finding someone that has found their own success and following them and learn to rely on their recommendations.
And before you ask the answer is NO you do not need to buy everything that person suggests or promotes to you. Some products will be a great fit for you and others will not. Follow your gut and then once you make the decision to purchase the recommendation then do everything you can to make it work.. Stop at nothing. Do not let your past experiences dictate your results.
