Most people seem to learn best when they see someone actually demonstrate an idea or a concept. Although I am one of those geeks who actually love large, thick instruction books, I suspect that is something that does not intrigue most people. They would rather watch a short, entertaining video that shows them how to accomplish a particular task than to read a boring manual. That is why we are launching a new series of short Rapid Cash Minute segments, designed to teach computer tips, tricks and marketing ideas. Like any new feature, it will take time to gauge how effective this campaign will be, but will provide interesting data on how to attract new customers. It could be a marketing laboratory of sorts for Jeff Wellman and Paul Counts fans, to observe how various strategies work in terms of gaining new ground in market share.

I doubt that no one person could seriously claim they have all the answers in relation to selling a product. If that were the case, there would be just one giant company in the world that ran everyone else out of business. Therefore, selling is a process of trial and error, no matter how scientific it may seem. Products are developed, succeed or fail or just run there course until something new comes along. Likewise, internet marketers must constantly evolve and change with the times, constantly on the lookout for new ideas, or revisions of old ones.

The idea of using video for tutorials is an example of using existing selling templates and adapting it for a particular market segment. Who knows who first came up with the idea of recording a computer screen to demonstrate how to accomplish certain tasks. Just like, it is impossible to pinpoint the first fellow who sold a cure-all bottle of medicine on the back of a wagon. Just like all good ideas, they are copied, reworked and revamped to serve a multitude of purposes.

Video communication connects with viewers by appealing to all our senses. Video respects the viewer and allows your website visitor that may not know you at all a chance or opportunity to really absorb the information and form their own conclusions. I would have to say that video more than any other medium alters our paradigms, and changes the way we see things in our world.

Well I shouldn’t have to go on any farther but I will talk a little bit more about why the use of video is so important if you really are intending on making sales from your online website.

When you use video and let me add, video that is well-produced, your website visitor is not going to be so quick to just click away and go to another site. If you use short, concise and I add again well produced videos your visitor will generally take the time to listen to the message and relatively quickly decided if they are ready to take the desired action that you are wanting them to take after your video presentation. Generally that is signing up to your list through a free offer or buying your product or Affiliate product that you are promoting.

I want to clear something up quickly. When I say well produced I am not meaning it has to be paramount pictures quality and ready for the big screen. But I am saying it needs to be of good quality so that it is not annoying for the visitor to watch and easily get discouraged by things like poor sound quality. Many times we teach just get things out their and get some results. But I am sure like myself you are looking for a positive result from the action your visitor takes when they arrive to your website. How many times have you been discouraged by poor quality videos that maybe the volume was so low that you had to strain to hear it. Do you stick around for unpleasant experiences? Neither will your visitor.

Remember it is your job to convert the so called visitor into a buying customer.
