Internet Marketing; Using Video To Create Personal Touch

Can online video boost your conversion rates?

Video has really become a very important feature of many websites.

Some of the very important benefits of using video to increase website conversion and sales are:

  • Better enhance a customer’s ability to understand or relate to an affiliate offer or one of your own products,
  • Demonstrate certain features and or the major benefits of your offer.
  • One of the most important is that it allows you to engage with the customer on a more personal level.
  • Sets off emotional triggers easier, ultimately influencing buying decisions.
  • Video can help make your website ‘sticky increasing chance of sale.

Using video allows you to really enhance your website experience for the customer by better engaging them which ultimately lead to higher conversions.

Driving traffic to your website is only part of your task when it comes to making sales online. Conversion is the true measure of your sites effectiveness in turning visitors in to customers. Increased conversion means increased revenue from your website.

Before you start your video campaign as in anything else you need to start with a clear goal. By starting a video project with clear goals you can create a successful video campaign to increase your conversion rates. Things to remember when deciding on your goals are;

  • Have I established a starting point for measurement! In other words what are my current website statistics such as traffic and conversions from the current traffic.
  • Have I established a way of measuring my results. What is in place to help me measure higher traffic and conversions. One possibility is to install something like Google Analytics on your website. Website traffic is perhaps one of the easiest to measure. If you have Google analytics installed on your site, you can easily see where your traffic is coming from and also see what paths the users take once on your site.
  • How will I act upon the results that I get!

By setting proper goals you can create a successful video campaign to increase your conversion rates, whatever they may be.

One important thing to remember is that you need to create compelling video content to be delivered to your website visitor through your video. Your video must reflect your key message and website goals.

While adding video to your online store isn’t exactly new, it really is still an online medium in its infancy. Only within the last year or so have Online Marketers really begun to wake up to the real power of video as a marketing tool that builds customer confidence and increases conversion rates.

Think of your online website as an offline store for just a second. How would you go about getting your customer that just walked into your offline store to stay in your store and increase your chance of making a sale? Of course you would do what you could to engage them by talking to them.

Why treat your online visitor any different? When your visitor comes to your website take every opportunity you can and engage them in what is going on. Talk to them. make it personal. Make it seem like that website was just setting there waiting for just them to show up. Deliver the ultimate experience to each visitor that show up to your website. After all you worked hard at getting the visitor there in the first place. Use every tool you have available to increase your website conversions. Video is one of those tools you need to start with.

I would love to hear what your thoughts and experiences have been on using video to help increase conversions.

Joint Venture Partners: Formula For Affiliate Marketing Success!

June 26th, 2010 | Posted in Affiliate Marketing, Jeff Wellman Marketing Tips, Jeff Wellman products, Joint Venture Partnerships, List Building, Making Money Online, Traffic Generation

Affiliate Marketing; A Good Recipe for Stone Soup

You probably know by now that Affiliate Marketing is a practice in which a business rewards its partners, or affiliates for bringing in customers through their marketing efforts. This team effort approach, merging many web sites in a united effort to funnel customers to a particular product, can be a very effective way to make money. The people you align with are called in the business, Joint Venture Partners or just JV Partners.

In a larger sense, this type of business model is actually a co-op of sorts, like many farmers used to form. It was difficult for one farmer, after all the toil of bringing a crop to harvest, to be in a position to bargain effectively with big city buyers. It became apparent that a group of farmers had a better chance of negotiating a fair price for their product. They could also in return bargain for lower prices when buying feed and other necessary supplies. So in essence, Affiliate Marketing is just a fancy hi-tech farmer’s co-op, working together for a common goal. The affiliates all strive to list build together for sales, in a way they could not do alone.

The concept goes way beyond setting up a link to each other’s selling pages; the group can also share talent, skills and time to create interesting and effective products and advertising packages. Think about the challenge of coming up with brand new products and an effective selling page on your own. Most of us would rather go to the dentist. It sounds too difficult, too time consuming to all but the most motivated person. Nevertheless, what if you belong to a group, a cadre of fellow beginners that worked together to build such an enterprise? It doesn’t sound quite as difficult now does it?

You may not have the skills yet to achieve your goals, but you certainly have at least one. Perhaps you know how to create graphics on a computer, edit some video, or write a little bit. Your affiliate can do something else or may have the information on how to set up a domain name and create a web page. Everyone working together can achieve what you once thought was impossible.

Joint Venture Partners Your Formula For Affiliate Marketing Success

Joint Venture Partners Your Formula For Affiliate Marketing Success

I am reminded of the old story about the old beggar who walked into a poor village. He asked several people for a piece of bread or a bit of milk. Everyone refused him, claiming they had nothing to offer. He was tempted to give up, to leave and look for a bite to eat elsewhere, but instead had an idea.

He asked the villagers if they had ever eaten stone soup? He began to advertise the delectable brew as the best he had ever tasted and claimed he was in possession of a magic stone that would turn water into a satisfying meal. Soon his marketing ability began to create curiosity and a few mouths to water. The townsfolk began to beg him for the recipe. The old man said he needed a big pot in which to boil the soup. He got one. He boiled the water, carefully tasted it and declared it was good. However, alas, too bad, it didn’t have some carrots or it would be perfect. By some coincidence, a few peasants had some. Perhaps some potatoes would make it better, and sure enough, someone found some. Finally, the clever beggar wished aloud for a bit of meat to make it the best stone soup ever…sure enough some tasty bits of tender meat were procured. The townsfolk were amazed at the old man’s powers…how could such delicious soup be made with a rock?

Likewise, if you are wishing for a money making venture on the internet and think that it would take a miracle to achieve that goal, look around. There are other folks in the virtual village that can each provide a tasty ingredient to a marketing masterpiece.

This is the perfect segue to encourage you to sign up for Jeff Wellman’s marketing products. You will learn techniques and information to build a foundation to a great internet marketing business. You can get acquainted with other great folks who are trying to do the same thing. Who knows, perhaps they have the right stuff to help create your own delicious marketing concept. They may even have a great recipe for soup.

Private Label Rights, Rebrand Put Your Name Here!

June 22nd, 2010 | Posted in Making Money Online

Benefiting from PLR, A Car with Your Name on It

PLR what are you talking about? If you try to explain to the average person how you purchased a Private Label Rights article or presentation and then claimed it was yours, you would probably get a raised eyebrow. To most people that would be stealing and they would probably tell you so. We are all very aware of copy-written works in music and media and all the restrictions and extra fees we pay for the privilege of enjoying them. We can download a song, only to find it plays on one player, but not another. You legally cannot even get a group together to sing Christmas songs in a mall, without someone paying a publishing company for the rights.

Most people are not aware how often one person or company makes something and lets someone else put their name on it.

PLR rebrand Your Name Here

PLR rebrand Your Name Here

Car companies do this all the time. Remember GM’s Geo division in the 1980’s and early ‘90’s? GM put its name on vehicles manufactured by Japanese companies, Toyota and Isuzu. Isuzu produced the Spectrum and Toyota made the newer Nova line. People bought them, satisfied they were buying an American product. There are numerous car models, both designed completely or jointly by different car companies and sold with various nameplates. Even Honda had Isuzu make the Passport model a few years ago.

Grocery stores have been using this practice for many years too. I worked for a time at a well-known cold cut manufacturer. They of course had their marketable brands, which were considered premium products and then they turned around and made the same hotdogs for local food store chains. The local stores were able to place their names on it and value conscious customers would buy it because it was slightly cheaper. People would say how it tasted just like the premium brands…exactly because the same company made it. Everyone benefited from this version of PLR. The manufacturer gains a new market of people wanting to save money; the grocery chain sells more products.

So it shouldn’t surprise people that in the marketing world that there is PLR products too. They provide a way for budding business tycoons to diversify their offerings without expending too many resources in creating them. It is much faster to customize an existing conception, than to start from scratch. It also allows marketers more time to concentrate on their next “big” idea.

So don’t hesitate to shop around for some PLR opportunities of your own. Let someone else build the car and you can customize it with your own nameplate. Remember it’s not necessary to re-invent the wheel, just stick some flashy rims on it.

Let’s give it a try right now. Grab this FREE GIFT that comes complete with Private Label Rights. $100 A Day No Cost, Affiliate, & Article Marketing Step-By-Step Video Course!”

Blog Traffic Generation… Key is Consistency!

June 18th, 2010 | Posted in Making Money Online

How to get good Blog Traffic,

Getting good quality traffic to your blog is actually rather easy. It really only takes one really important thing to generate good traffic to your blog and that is Good Relevant Content added to your blog on a Consistent basis. The key is the word consistent.

I have found time and time again that I would start generating the Blog traffic I was wanting to my blog only to find it slowing down faster than it started. What was the one thing I stopped doing that was causing the traffic that I had started to come to a stop.

Every time it was the same thing and that was, I failed to be consistent with my blog posting.

My regular readership would stop showing up as soon as the content they were enjoying stopped showing up and so did the new traffic. Of course when the traffic stopped so did my list building efforts. With no new traffic there was nobody new showing up to my blog to subscribe to the FREE GIFTS I was offering that would help them in their list building efforts. So I was basically setting here with a solution to a problem but nobody was finding me.

We need to keep in mind that one of the most important things we can do to generate good quality traffic will be to add high quality, original content. You may actually be able to let the page advertise for itself, more or less, if you can keep it full of good content. Google, and the other major search engines, are continuously scouring the web looking for places that have good relevant content and sites that are updated frequently.

If you do a good job making sure the content on your site is good quality and relevant and optimized for the web, the search engines will do their job to send you the traffic you are looking for. People search all over the internet for informative sources just waiting to help them solve their problems and if you present them with the solutions through your content, you will find that soon you will be positioned right in their path when they come searching, and they will keep coming back to your site for a long time and you will have a sustained influx of freely generated traffic.

My biggest problem I found I had in being consistent was the fact that I was trying to run my business and do everything myself and I just plain and simple lacked the time to be consistent with my blogging.

The solution was to hire someone to create content for me.

This is where it got exciting for me. I contacted my list and a few others I thought would be great at writing for my blog. What I found was there were several people that really wanted to write for me but they were to scared to actually take the step and start. They were worried about me not liking the post or worried they might not be able to do the research that was required to create a good post on a topic they might not comprehend. Basically they were afraid to take the action that was required. Seems that is what holds more people back than anything. Fear of failing!

Well you may have noticed that some of the posts I have on my blog are being authored by Harvey Poling jr.

Harvey approached me and said he would like the opportunity to at least try. I have to admit I was a little surprised and even a little bit worried about this move as he really was not experienced at all in what I do for a living or in writing the content I was looking for.

But then I remembered back to my start and how I knew nothing about what I was about to venture into myself. I guess what really made me say yes to this new venture was the fact that Harvey was willing to give it a try even if he ended up failing. Yes he was nervous and a little bit unsure of what he was about to get himself into but he was willing to overcome the fear and give it his best try.

It started out with me writing some articles and then having him re-write them. Next I would just give him a title or a subject to research and write on. It was not long before I found myself not even being able to keep up with the videos and blog posts he was sending my way.

Guess who I am paying to write my blog posts… You guessed it, the one that overcame his fears and gave it his best effort.

So what is my blog traffic looking like since our new found relationship has begun? It is not where I want it yet, but what a substantial increase I have seen and a very nice climb in the numbers that are subscribing to my list from my blog traffic. So providing great content not only provides the traffic it also is one of the number one list builders their is.

Of course their are things like ensuring your content is SEO friendly by using the proper Keywords in your content that those coming online will use to search for your content, but it all starts with being consistent and writing good quality content.

Without straying away from our topic and getting deep into Search Engine Optimization, SEO friendly content is really nothing more than just content that was written with some attention paid to how a search engine might see the content.

But I want to be very clear and state that SEO Friendly Writing Does Not Mean you go about Writing for Search Engines

You need to really first and foremost be thinking about writing for people not for search engines when creating your content for your blog. Search engines ultimately want to provide content that is interesting and informative for their customers too, and who really wants to read a page that is over optimized. Can we say BORING!

I just want to publicly state that I am very pleased with what Harvey has accomplished not only for my blog but for himself. He should be an example to many that are facing the fears of taking the required action to begin something new in your life.

You only fail if you don’t try.

What is keeping you from generating the blog traffic you are looking for? It all starts with consistently providing good relevant content that helps solve your readerships problems. By doing so you will gain their trust and support and build the credibility that you need in your online business ventures.

Stand in your Greatness

The Top 5 Internet Marketing Systems Ever Used

Internet Marketing System 1: The Autopilot Money System – With this system you are using an autoresponder to sell all your products and services and those you promote as an affiliate for commissions.

This can be as simple as creating a few email messages, loading them into your autoresponder, and then forgetting about it. The autoresponder loaded with your messages will do all the selling for you 24/7 on autopilot!

Internet Marketing System 2: The List Building System – With an online business, the money is in the list. If you’re not building a list of people interested in the topic of your business you’ll never see any real money!

To start building a list you need a good list building system. Maybe it’s just a squeeze page giving something away for free, or maybe something complex like a free service you offer just to get people on your list.

Of all the systems I would say this is the most important one!

Internet Marketing System 3: The Affiliate System – If you have your own products and services you can sky rocket your income by having an affiliate program. Once you have an affiliate program in place it’s important to have a system that recruits affiliates for you, so that they promote for you.

I have an “affiliate hub” that gives away free affiliate training. We drive traffic to it, train people to promote our products, and it does wonderfully well with affiliate recruitment!

Internet Marketing System 4: Found Money System – I call this the found money system because it’s like finding extra money. Instead of just having one product to sell have several products that sell in an automated system. This can be in your initial sales process or by using an autoresponder.

Internet Marketing System 5: Traffic System – And last but certainly not least the traffic system. You must have systems in place that continually drive traffic to your website. Outsourcing your traffic generation is the best way to go. You can simply hire people to run these traffic systems for you, and it will free up your time a lot.

My favorite traffic systems are: Article marketing, SEO, affiliate recruitment, and PPC.

You’ve got to find what works for you and use that traffic system over and over again!

If you’re looking to learn internet marketing systems that you can put to use in your business then I highly recommend that you check out the Ready To Go Systems website right here!

Right now you can get a totally free online video course called Product Empire Profits that will show you a secret internet marketing system used by millionaires everywhere! Grab your FREE Product Empire Profits Right Here!
